In hospitality, particularly in destination projects, hotels and resorts often represent the largest portion of investment. Ensuring the financial health of these assets is crucial for the success of the entire destination. Some developers can allocate over 80% of project investment to hotels and resorts. Although the majority of the assets managed by international hotel management groups,e.g. IHG, Marriott, and Hilton, it is vital that the destination management team should integrate closely with the marketing efforts to make sure not only these assets will meet the financial targets, but also enhance the overall destination performance in the market.

Effective marketing is essential, especially when dealing with diverse locations. We strategically transformed resort offerings into nature-focused holiday programs, generating views on social media. The approach demonstrates our commitment to embracing new challenges and exploring innovative solutions. By implementing these strategies, we supported projects at different locations adopting local-based environmental conservation policies, earning accolades from local authorities and reinforcing our dedication to preserving natural landscapes and biodiversity.

During the winter season, Changbaishan Resort successfully formed a win-win partnership with Disney. Disney was able to use the resort's snowy terrain to feature their brand and carry out their annual Winter Festival, while Changbaishan Resort benefited from the free introduction of Disney's globally recognized brand. This collaboration significantly boosted the resort’s visitor numbers and enhanced its visibility during the skiing season.

In another example, we revitalized an uninhabited village at the Qiandaohu Project, transforming it into a dynamic marketing showroom. This innovation not only enhanced customer experiences and promoted the property, leading to contract sales exceeding millions USD, but also provided a unique venue for Club Med customers, showcasing the resort’s creative engagement strategies and diversifying business partnerships with hotel operators.
